Aspire Credit Union was honored on Tuesday with an award for the Most Impactful Business of the Year at the Alliance of Nonprofits annual luncheon. The category featured three nominated local businesses all of which are engaged with the Minot nonprofit community.
The award was joyfully accepted by eight members of the Aspire Credit Union team. Rianne Kuhn, Marketing Communication Coordinator spoke on behalf of the credit union. “We are pleased to accept this honor from the Alliance of Nonprofits. Nonprofits are the heart and backbone of communities. You all have the hard job of assisting, serving, educating, and connecting our community members and our citizens to the services you offer. Aspire strives to assist, volunteer, fundraise, and promote all the good work you are all doing in our community. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.”
The nomination detailing the credit union’s contributions was read by the event’s emcee featuring details about how the credit union has given back in the community, including groups supported and dedicated total hours of organizational support. Aspire as a single branch in Minot was able to identify opportunities and create impact in our great community serving over 930 volunteer hours last year. Kevin Vigested, Aspire Credit Union’s CEO shared, “We encourage and will continue to provide opportunities for our staff to be involved. Giving back elevates our community in so many ways. I am proud of our team on how they involve themselves in so many opportunities.”
