Aspire Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of Tasha Clark as its new Teller Manager, succeeding longtime leader Diane Smith, who will retire at the end of March after 30+ years of dedicated service.
Clark brings more than six years of financial services experience and a strong background in leadership, team development, and member service. In her new role, she will oversee daily teller operations, support staff development, and ensure Aspire members continue to receive the exceptional service they expect.
During her initial training period, Kelsey Scharmer will serve as Interim Teller Manager, providing leadership support while Clark completes the onboarding and training process.
“Tasha brings a strong mix of operational knowledge, leadership, and passion for member service,” said Brianna Weeks, Operations Manager. “Her experience supervising teams, managing daily operations, and building strong member relationships will be a tremendous asset to our organization and the members we serve.”
Throughout her career in financial services, Clark has developed in depth knowledge in branch operations, compliance, and team leadership. Her responsibilities have included supervising and mentoring staff, monitoring teller transactions, daily operations, and resolving complex member inquiries.
In addition to her operational expertise, Clark is passionate about delivering excellent member experiences. She focuses on building strong relationships with members, recommending financial solutions tailored to their needs, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
A lifelong resident of Minot, Clark says joining Aspire Credit Union feels like a natural fit.
“I look forward to becoming a part of the Aspire Credit Union team and forming new relationships with coworkers and members,” Clark said. “I’ve heard Aspire is a great place to work and I admire how active the credit union is in the community.”
Clark’s interest in Aspire began through a personal experience when she and her family worked with the credit union on a cabin loan. “Aspire worked closely with us to secure the loan and the experience really stood out,” she shared.
Outside of work, Clark enjoys spending time with her family at their lake cabin, tackling home projects, and maintaining an active lifestyle. A dedicated advocate for health and fitness, she values living a healthy lifestyle and has instilled those habits in her family. She is also a proud mother of seven grown children and grandmother to three grandchildren.
Aspire Credit Union is excited to welcome Clark to the team and looks forward to the leadership and dedication she will bring to members and staff alike.
