The Credit Unions United Chapter is proud to come together once again in support of local students through its annual high school scholarship program. Rooted in the credit union philosophy of people helping people, this collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders.
This year, high school students are invited to showcase their creativity and personal experience by completing an essay or a two-minute video on the topic: “The Value of My Credit Union Membership.” Applicants may submit a double-spaced essay on a separate sheet of white paper, or create a short video submission. Video entries can be sent directly via Facebook Messenger to the Credit Unions United Chapter.
All entries must be postmarked by April 10, 2026. Three deserving students will each be awarded $500 scholarships. To qualify, winners must be credit union members. Judges’ decisions are final, and winning submissions may be featured in participating credit unions’ quarterly newsletters and shared with local media.
By working together to fund these scholarships, the Credit Unions United Chapter continues to empower young members, celebrate their stories, and reinforce the lifelong value of credit union membership within our communities.
