Aspire Membership
Aspire Credit Union has received three nominations for the two open Board of Directors seats. In order to vote for the open Board of Directors positions, an individual must be a primary member of Aspire Credit Union by April 10, 2022 and be 16 years or older. Voting will open for Members starting April 14, 2022. Voting will be open for 30 days with the voting closing on May 14, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
To vote, a Member will head to the website https://aspire.cuballot.com/. On that site, you will be prompted to add your Member Account Number as the login, and the password is the last four of the primary Members Social Security Number (SSN). At the Annual Meeting, there will be an announcement of who has won the two open seats to serve on our Board of Directors.
As a perk, board volunteers receive free check blanks and $25,000 accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage. Our board meets once a month, in the evening.
Meet the Candidates
Tracey Lawson (Incumbent)
Tracey (pictured left) is a lifelong Minot resident. She has been a Member of Aspire Credit Union since 1989. She and her husband, Kevin, have two grown children and two grandchildren. Tracey has been employed by Minot Public Schools since 2000 and is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education. She will be retiring in June and plans to spend more time with family and volunteer in the Minot community. She is seeking her third full term on the Aspire Credit Union Board. Tracey said, “I am very proud of the vision and direction of the Credit Union and would be honored to continue serving on the Board of Directors.”
Jason Rohrer (Incumbent)
Jason (pictured center) has been a member of Aspire Credit Union for 21 years. He has served on the Board of Directors for 7½ years. He also served as a volunteer on the credit union’s Credit Committee. He has been married to his wife Desidy for 21 years. They have 2 children, Benjamin (18) and Gabrielle (14). He has owned The Jason Rohrer Agency of Horace Mann for 19 years. Jason loves to spend time with his family at Strawberry Lake. The Rohrer’s have a passion for the University of North Dakota Hockey and enjoy watching their children in hockey, volleyball, and softball.
Lolanda (Lolly) Gorze
Lolly (pictured right) is a graduate of Surrey High School and Minot State University. She currently works as the Human Resource Director at Enerbase, a local cooperative. She is also very active in her church as the Council Secretary. She and her husband Jeff have been members of Aspire Credit Union for over 35 years. They have three children who currently live in Minot. The pair are active members of the local Moose Lodge and enjoy camping and playing golf when the weather warms. She has a strong insurance background and banking experience along with her human resource knowledge. She would like to extend her service to fellow Aspire Credit Union Members and represent them on the board.
